BabaYaga – Group Project

About the work

This project, worked on by 5 students in total, is the culmination of months of work to complete our first fully realised VFX shot. We used a range of techniques and software to achieve something we are proud of.

Our project was to depict our own version of the house of the folklore character, BabaYaga. This meant designing and making our own assets using 3D software such as Maya and Zbrush, and 2D compositing software such as Nuke.

For our first project we believe we achieved something great that we can learn from. We challenged ourselves during the project to work on areas we are less comfortable in and supported each other to improve these skills.
