About the work

The intention for the project was to produce a virtual version of the Suzuki Omnichord OM84 System Two using Native Instruments Reaktor 6.

Constructed using custom modules and macros within the Primary level of Reaktor, the Omnichris uses samples of the original instrument (recorded using Pro Tools) and offers authentic polyphonic sounds of the original chord and keyboard voicings and the ability to perform MIDI notation written within a DAW project.

Student Bio

During my time studying on the FdSc Audio and Music Technology course I have benefited greatly from the knowledge and encouragement of the excellent tutors and support staff at Confetti. I have had the opportunity to attend some fantastic guest lectures at Industry Week, gaining insights and advice from some great professionals, and developing skills to help further my career.

I have successfully recorded, mixed and mastered for new and established artists using the world class facilities within Metronome, and have been involved in creative projects across multiple areas of the audio industry, gaining a part-time position at Spool working in Post-Production on a feature film.

I am currently planning to undertake further study at Confetti in addition to pursuing freelance opportunities as a Sound Engineer and within the field of sound for visual media.
