Student Bio

Miles has left university with a diploma in animation and a BSc in Film Production Technology from Confetti institute where he honed his skills and developed a myriad of productions ranging from journalism packages for Notts TV to editing and presenting packages for Trent TV.

In the professional space, Miles has also worked in production for Joaquin Phoenixs’ You Were Never Really Here which was a smash hit, and also worked on many high-end short films such as ‘The Orgy’ by Sam Baron which went on to receive a myriad of awards. Recently, he went on to create the hit short ‘The Licengoons’ which went on to be featured in the likes of Left Lion, Hackney Gazette, and Notts TV. It was also sponsored and endorsed by Silver Voices an elderly charity and went on to win awards such as best narrative short at the Latitude film festival and best comedy short at the London Independent Film Awards. Currently, Miles has just finished his recent short ‘Where the Mind Wants to Roam’. Which is now circulating festivals.
